Telegram announced some new updates recently that is for both mobile apps and on desktop. It introduced the new Payments 2.0 experience, voice chats, a better media experience, and decorative animations on Android.

This new update brings more new features, like scheduled voice chats and two new Telegram Web apps. Also with an update for the Android UI.

Here are the details:

Payment 2.0 is the most significant feature, which enhances the existing payments system in the app. And now traders can trade and accept credit card payments in any chat, relying on third-party payment providers, for example, Stripe. 

Buyers can now add a tip on any purchase they make. Not only from a mobile app but also from a desktop app.

New features regarding voice chats 

The new update lets you schedule a voice chat. That even show a countdown to involved participants. Here is how you can activate a schedule for voice chat on Android, open the channel or group chat, tap the menu button, then Start Voice chat > Schedule Voice Chat.

Telegram updated the Android version with new animated stickers. It also has a message button and chats folders.

“With the new update, animated stickers will load comparatively faster. Telegram has also made a new library of animated emoji on the app. Media editing advancements will let Android users edit a photo. That has already sent and add effects, drawings or stickers with the media editor. iOS users can touch the pen button to edit and send a picture back they have received. The iOS users can also allow Siri to read received messages out loud in their headphones.”
