The company is working towards introducing its Samsung Galaxy S22 series of the flagship in India. A recent leak hints about Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra having a new feature has now surfaced. To recall, Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S series to come with the support for S Pen. Earlier this week, a leak hinted that the Ultra model will also come with S Pen.

From previous leaks, the phone will most likely feature a P-shaped camera module. It’s also rumoured that it may retain the 108-megapixel primary camera from its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 Ultra. But this might not stop the phone to give its user a better experience. According to leaks, it is possible that it could offer an improved camera performance.
According to a publication Itmaterial, it reported of finding strings in the Samsung Camera app code making references to a new feature called “Detail Enhancer”. Apparently this feature will be activated when using the dedicated 108-megapixel shooting mode on Galaxy S22 Ultra. It also states that the ‘Digital Enhancer’ feature could be exclusive to the Ultra variant only.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Leaks So Far
Earlier leaked renders and real-life images of Samsung’s high-end flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra seem to showcase a Galaxy Note successor. It has a boxy look and will apparently offer a slot for storing the S Pen stylus. It also stands out from the other two models. A myriad of rumours hinting at different monikers surfaced online with no evidence. Late last month, a report surfaced asserting Samsung has no plans to release a Note phone in 2022, or probably ever.

According to leaks, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra might feature a quad-camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto unit with 3x zoom, and a separate 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x zoom. A tall display with a centre-aligned punch-hole design, curved corners, a housing for the S Pen, Type-C port, and metal body will also be part of the package. The phone will also get Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, Android 12 OS, and up to 12GB RAM. Many are expecting the series to launch sometime in February 2022.
