A report released by the game developers CD Projekt confirmed an expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 with a new storyline. Another major game, GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will also receive major content update in the coming year.

As Piotr Nielubowicz, VP and Chief Financial Officer, CD Projekt said, “For everyone who has already walked the streets of Night City – we’re working on further DLCs as well as on a major expansion featuring a new storyline.” The game has received frequent updates and fixes from the developers.

With frequent updates and different downloadable contents, many issues and bugs in the game has improved. Reports from the gaming community says that the gameplay has improved significantly for various consoles as compared to its initial launch. The game has done financially well since its release.
According to the report released by the CD Projekt’s financial cell, the game has sold over 18 million copies worldwide. The game had suffered quite a few hitches on its way, but it has improved and is better than it was at launch. Due to user complains regarding refunds and the state of the game on launch, the game was unavailable on PlayStation Store digital storefront for some time.

The February update was well received by gamers and critics alike. Many technical improvements including Ray Tracing and 60 FPS performance has made the gaming performance smooth and desirable. New features like customisable apartments and other quality-of-life changes were also included. There are many facets, where the developers can still improve.
