BGMI 2.9 Update Introduces Ranveer Singh As A Playable Character

BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) recently received a new 2.9 update, adding new features and changes to the game. The latest update also makes Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh a playable character in the battle royale game.

Ranveer Singh is the new brand ambassador for BGMI, and the 2.9 update adds new content inspired by his personality in the game. Here is everything you need to know about the actor’s collaboration with BGMI.

Ranveer Singh Arrives As Playable Character In BGMI

The 2.9 update brings tons of content for fans of the Bollywood actor, including the Ranveer Singh Discovery event and the Ranveer Singh Crate and Play and Win event.

Furthermore, there are two Ranveer Singh 3D avatars for players to win: RS Dark Stealth and RS Swaggy Baba. In addition, there are new emotes such as Swagster Groove, Swagster Tathad, Swagster Sway and Swagster Twirl, apart from a unique voice pack.

The Ranveer Singh Crate in BGMI includes RS Swaggy Buggy, RS Fury, which is a skin of the M249 machine gun, RS Dhamaka grenade skin, and RS Pancho (a pan skin), apart from other ornaments and space gifts.

Unlocking these skins will require the in-game currency UC, with players needing 60 UC for each draw and 30UC for the first draw.

New RS Discovery Event And Rewards

Furthermore, the Ranveer Singh Discovery event in BGMI adds a point-based system to the game where players can earn points by playing matches in the Classic mode.

Moreover, this event will have 50 stages, as players will need 100 points to reach the next stage, thus requiring 5000 points to unlock stage 50. The rewards for these stages include space gifts, ornaments, parachutes and more.

The RS Discovery event will be available from December 1 to January 25, offering players ample time to collect points. There is also a Play and Win event where players can complete various tasks to earn RS tokens, which can redeemed for permanent rewards.

RS Play And Win Event And Other Changes In The Update

The Play And Win event in BGMI has various tasks such as playing as Ranveer Singh’s character, Pure Showdown, teaming up, Pure Speed and daily logins. Rewards options include Lion Champion Set, Lion Champion Headgear, Thorned Rose – Crowbar, Neon Kiss Ornament, Classic Crate Coupon (5-time limit), and Supply Crate Coupon (10-time limit).

Furthermore, the 2.9 update also introduces two new Pagani car models in collaboration between Krafton and the Italian automaker. The update brings a winter theme with the Snowy Village featuring Snow Rail and reindeer as new modes of transportation.
