Battlegrounds Mobile India has finally surpassed 1 crore or a whopping 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store. Krafton launched the Indian flavor of PUBG Mobile in India officially on July 2. Up until then, the game was available for download as a beta tester since June 16. In other words, it was an early access version that was open to all for download.

However, Battlegrounds Mobile India now has a stable version up for downloading and playing on the Google Play Store. Moreover, the popular battle royale is available for download only for Android users. Android users can head over to the Google Play Store to download it. In other news, iOS version of the mobile game is currently in the works and shall roll out soon as well.

Additionally, the game releases in-game items to celebrate the download milestones of the game on the Play Store. Since the game has now surpassed 10 million downloads, Krafton has released an in-game outfit set. This is called the ‘Constable Set’ and is a permanent outfit that is added to Battlegrounds Mobile India player’s inventories.

Battlegrounds Mobile India: What Else?

When it comes to differences between Battlegrounds Mobile India and PUBG Mobile, there are some subtle differences. Players no longer get red marks on landing hits on opponents or getting hit themselves. Moreover, players can choose between green and yellow colors for the blood effect. Additionally, first-time players of the game have a lot of in-game clothing options as well right from the start.

Overall, BGMI seems to have toned down the violence when compared to PUBG Mobile. Furthermore, when you take down an enemy, the game indicates it with ‘Finishes’ instead of ‘Kills’ as in PUBG Mobile.

In other news, the iOS version of the game is reportedly under development. Several sources are suggesting that the iOS version may roll out soon in the Apple App Store. However, no concrete piece of information has been confirmed as of now.
