The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta update is now rolling out to devices in South Korea. This is the third beta update and is specifically rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices. The brand new beta update brings a set of different things to the devices.
Yes, we are definitely looking at the usual bug fixes. These include fixing commonly reported issues with the Samsung keyboard, Bixby and certain UI glitches here and there. In addition, a couple of things are getting new makeovers and enhancements as well.

For instance, the Samsung Weather app is now getting a brand new makeover via the One UI 4.0 third beta. What more, the Weather app does not have any ads anymore. Previously, Samsung did talk about introducing this to the app. Moreover, we also get to see brand new animations and transitions in the Samsung Weather app.
Android 12-Based One UI 4.0 Third Beta: What More?
This week, Samsung had actually hinted at the release of the One UI 4.0 third beta. The company has most certainly kept their promise as the update has finally gone official in South Korea. However, this is the just another Beta update and aims at fixing certain commonly reported issues for the most part.

From the looks of it, the One UI 4.0 firmware update may be launching before 2021 ends. Talking about the bug fixes, the brand new update brings fixes to the system UI force close. There was also another issue where Bixby was getting glitched out on lock screen. This particular issue is getting a fix as well. In addition, the Samsung Keyboard was causing a couple of issues for users. This has been addressed and fixed in the update as well.
Further, the colour theme functionality of the devices have been stabilised as well. Under the One UI 4.0 third beta update, we also see the addition of pet lighting effect alongside improved voice commands recognition in the camera application.

The final release of Google AOSP has been reflected upon via the One UI 4.0 update as well. For now, the update is limited to South Korean users of the Galaxy S21 series devices. However, we can expect the third update to arrive to India and other regions in the coming days.
