Panasonic, yesterday, introduced a new digital mirrorless camera — the Lumix GH5M2 — in India. The new Lumix GH5M2 is aimed at videographers and supports 4K video recording. It has the ability to record C4K or 4K 4:2:0 videos at 60 fps frame rates at bitrates of 10 bits per second.
It also has a 20.3 megapixel sensor and a body-image stabiliser, along with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity options. The Lumix GH5M2 will be sold through Panasonic India’s brand stores in India, and will likely also be available through online channels in the country.

Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 Price in India
The Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 price in India has been set at Rs. 1,69,990 in India. However, this is the price for solely the body of the camera. For the L-Kit version, it will cost Rs. 2,14,990. In the US, the price of the camera has been set at $1699 and the L-Kit version costs $22299.99.
Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 Specifications and Features
Coming to the specifications of the newly launched Panasonic camera, it comes with a 20.3-megapixel sensor. Moreover, this is a Digital Live MOS sensor alongside an anti-reflective coating on top. Where the camera stands out on this front is that it minimises ghosting of images. Lens flares are also something that will stay away because of the kind of sensor and coating it comes with.

On the processor front, the Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 is powered by the image signal processor based on the brand’s proprietary Venus Engine. According to the brand, this particular tech will allow users to record 10-bit videos. In addition, it also brings simultaneous 4:2:2 HDMI output to the table.
The digital mirrorless camera also uses deep learning tech. What this brings is the ability to detect image subjects, which also includes fast-moving animals, birds or humans in any sort of motion. The Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 has launched as a successor to the Lumix GH5.
According to the company, the Lumix GH5M2 comes with two times better face and eye detection capabilities. In addition, it also comes with a 0.6 stop slower shutter speed alongside body IS. This basically allows users to take more stable images when handheld.
Users of the latest Panasonic Lumix GH5M2 can also make use of the wireless live streaming support. This particular feature allows users to wirelessly live stream to a nearby screen. If not wirelessly, users can also use HDMI out to watch videos on the screen.

These livestreams will be having FHD+ resolution at 60fps. Moreover, it will be using the H.264 codec in the RTMP/RTMPS protocol. What more, there is also an in-built 3-inch LCD monitor which comes with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a 1840K dot resolution.
