Oppo’s AI Assistant Breeno accidentally revealed Oppo ColorOS 12’s releasing date. According to Breeno, the next-generation operating system will be released on September 13. This confirms that Android 12 might be available sooner than expected.

The AI Assistant in an attempt to answer a users question regarding the release of OppoOS 12, accidentally responded with the release date. One should note that Google, in its May I/O Event, took the wraps off Android 12. In this event, it was announced that the Android 12 beta 4.1 is available, which means that it is closer to a stable release.

Smartphone companies have already started working on their own skin based on Android 12. Samsung is one such company with its own skin One UI 4.0 beta. This means that Samsung is working on its apps and services for the new update.

The Android 12 update is highly anticipated because of its promising new features and a new design called Material You. The Material You look brings vibrant and playful visuals and a much-needed revamp of the Android operating system’s looks. With the new design, the simple white backgrounds will replace with a slightly tinted pastel background. The new backgrounds make text, icons, and other on-screen content stand out.
12 will also feature Color Extraction, a new service to automatically determine which colours are dominant and complementary. This chosen colour will paint the notification region, the lock screen, the new volume controls, and widgets to reflect a uniform visual experience for users.
Android 12 will feature fresh security and privacy settings, such as the Privacy dashboard. This will give you important information about when your information is used by apps and other details. Additionally, the upcoming version also offers an option to reflect “approximate” location instead of the precise location.

Android 12 is also expecting to bring efficient and fast overall performance. Apart from that, CPU time needed for core system services reduces by around 22 per cent. The big core CPU usage by the system server has reduced by around 15 per cent. This points to the news that Android 12 will arrive with amazing additions and will help keep battery life better for the phones.
