The latest item in Asus’ Republic of Gamers (ROG) division’s monitor range, the Asus ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor with a 24.1-inch display, is launched in Taiwan during Computex 2022. Nvidia’s G-Sync display technology powers the new gaming monitor and has a refresh rate of 500Hz. The new ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor has a frameless display and the Nvidia reflex analyser, which uses both GPU and game optimizations to reduce system latency. It also has an Esports Vibrance mode for esports fans.

The company is yet to announce the price and availability of ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor. It is only available in one colour, that is black.
Specifications of Asus ROG Swift
A 24.1-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio comes with the new Asus ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor. The 500Hz refresh rate of the three-sided frameless display is impressive. The new monitor has Asus’ Esports-TN panel (E-TN) technology, which claims to give a 60 per cent faster reaction than the normal TN LCD screens.

Nvidia’s G-Sync variable refresh rate technology is there in the new gaming display. It comes with Nvidia’s reflex analyser, which lets games optimize frame delivery for better responsiveness. In addition, the ROG Swift 500Hz gaming display includes an esports vibrance setting that optimizes for esports gaming.
The ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor offers a display port 1.4, HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2 ports, and a headphone jack for communication. At this time, no more information on the new monitor is available.

In 2020, Asus ROG Swift 360Hz Monitor with a 24.5-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080) pixel display was released. It is presently available in India for a starting price of Rs. 59,999 on a variety of e-commerce sites.
