Have you been wondering whether to buy iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13? I have tried to jot down all the necessary pointers you need to know to make your purchase decision between the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13. Read through to know which one offers better value at Rs. 80,000.
1) Battery
So the first and one of the most important aspects is the battery. When we talk about the iPhone, the number one concern for people is the battery.
After much discussion and personal use, I could safely say that the battery in the max versions of the iPhone is far better than the base versions. Although Apple doesn’t specify, but we can determine through different Benchmark tests that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a battery of 3700 Mah while the iPhone 13 has a battery of just 3200 mah. So that gives a definite edge to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
2) Camera
The second point would be the camera. Now, it is obvious that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a triple camera setup or the pro camera setup as defined by Apple while the iPhone 13 has a dual-camera setup. Even though the iPhone 13 has an edge with the cinematic mode that the previous iPhone generations do not have, but the iPhone 12 Pro Max has an additional telephoto lens which increases your optical zoom up to 12x and makes your pictures sharper and clearer when zooming in or out.
So unless you are into videography and want the cinematic mode, we would suggest going with the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
3) Display
The next factor that we should talk about is the display. Both the phones have almost the same display, the difference comes in screen size. iPhone 12 Pro Max offers a much bigger screen size than the iPhone 13 and considering we live in a world now where all entertainment comes from streaming platforms like Hotstar, Prime Video and Netflix, most of us would want a bigger screen for better viewing angles.
4) Design and Build
A small detail to note is the stainless steel side frame on the iPhone 12 Pro Max Max which you cannot find on the iPhone 13 as it comes with an aluminium grade frame which in our opinion is not as handy with grip as compared to the stainless steel of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
5) Apple Bionic Chipset
Now obviously as the iPhone 13 is the new phone you get the new chipset which is the A15 Bionic chip which is superior to the older A14 in the iPhone 12 Pro Max but according to us if you are a normal user you will not be able to spot out the difference between the two chipsets
