Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer Infinix added the Infinix Note 7 and Note 7 Lite to its budget segment smartphone line-up. Both the smartphones are listed with their entire specs on the official website of Infinix Mobile but with no pricing and availability confirmed till now.
Infinix Note 7 Specifications
The regular Note 7 features a 6.95-inch HD+ (720×1,640 pixels) punch-hole IPS display design along with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 480 nits of brightness and 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The powertrain is decent with MediaTek Helio G70 processor under the hood, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage is however expandable up to 2TB. Like other modern budget handsets such as the Realme 6 and the Redmi Note 9 Pro, we get to see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner available to unlock the device.
Camera department is modest with a quad-rear camera module stacked in a circular module. There’s a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro sensor, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a low light video camera, which seems to be a trend these days. There’s a 16-megapixel up front for selfies residing in the punch-hole.
Juicing the smartphone is an impressive 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via the micro USB port.
Infinix Note 7 Lite Specifications
The Lite version houses a 6.6-inch HD+(720 x 1600 pixels) Infinity O- display IPS LCD that delivers 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.5 percent screen space. The device gets an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and clubbed with the same 128GB storage option, which is expandable.
Optics include a similar quad-camera setup placed in a rectangular module, just like we have seen in other recent smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera. Like the regular variant, the Lite version also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and has support for Face Unlock.
The battery department is also same as the regular Note 7 i.e. a 5,000mAh battery, but with no support for fast charging.

Infinix Note 7 And Note 7 Lite Review
With the exception of Display, RAM and Processor, the Infinix Note 7 And Note 7 Lite share similar specs. The multi touch capable punch-hole display on both the smartphones are quite admirable with an amazing resolution. The only difference being the Note 7 housing a bigger display compared to Lite. Infinix Note 7 is said to be a better option also because it contains MediaTek helio G70 chipset. The expansion of memory is not possible which is a shame but this is possible with the external storage. That being said, 128GB of internal storage in the price bracket is great. The performance of these devices including the side mounted fingerprint sensors are evaluated to be good. The camera with autofocus works well according to expectations. The 5000mah battery provides excellent battery backup. Overall, both of these are good for the prices under which they are offered.
