Tecno’s latest budget-range smartphone, the Camon 16, will be launched in India on October 10. The company’s launch is now teasing on all official social media accounts. Moreover, a dedicated page is also live on Flipkart.

Camon 16 will have a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64-megapixel primary camera. The phone looks like a toned version of the Premier that launched last month.
Tecno Camon 16 Launch Details, Availability
The company is all set to launch the Camon 16 on October 10th at 12 PM. Moreover, Flipkart also confirms that the phone will be available on the e-commerce site.

It may come with a 6.9-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a pixel density of 374ppi. However, the Flipkart page reveals the design and it has a hole-punch display with a single selfie camera cutout.
Moreover, the listing also confirms that the Tecno Camon 16 will feature a 64-megapixel primary shooter at the back. Upfront, the smartphone seems to have a punch-hole camera cutout design. It will be a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls.

It will have a quad rear camera system, including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro sensor.
On the other hand, it is expecting to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90 chipset, pairing with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It may have a 4000mAh battery. In addition, it will run on Android 10.

Noticeably, there is a rear fingerprint sensor at the back. In contrast, the Premier model had a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Tecno Camon 16 was mentioned alongside the Camon 16 Premier at the global launch last month. There was a third Pro model introduced as well.
The pricing and availability details of the Camon 16 will be announced at the time of launch on October 10. However, looking at the specifications, it will likely price around Rs. 15,000.
