The successor to Google Pixel 3a, Pixel 4a is finally here. The much buzzed Google Pixel 4a is an entry-level smartphone from the company with similar configurations like that of recently went on sale – OnePlus Nord. Pixel 4a’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB RAM is thought of as delivering the same level of performance as that of OnePlus Nord. OnePlus Nord lies in the same price bracket as that of Pixel 4a and bags Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 12GB RAM.

Snapdragon 730G Vs Snapdragon 765G
Snapdragon 730G is the ‘G’ variant which is more potent for more graphical grunt as well as demonstrated few extra display features. This processor packs two Cortex A76 core CPU to cater to odder, I/O extensive workloads. That’s an upgrade to Cortex A75 core in Google Pixel 3a’s processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 which is similar to Snapdragon 765G chipset.

Overall, the Google Pixel 4a’s processor – Snapdragon 730G is considerably a notable upgrade from last year. However, it is missing a lot in offering some key features and higher performance to the smartphone.
Although, Google’s latest affordable smartphone performs well where it counts. However, the users looking for a gaming smartphone may want to check out OnePlus Nord.
