    Specs at a glance

Before we talk more about the Noise Colorfit Nav, let’s see what on-paper specs look like:

    • Display: 1.4 Inch LCD
    • Connectivity: Bluetooth, GPS
    • Supported OS: Android & iOS
    • Battery: 180 mAh
    • Weight: 40 grams

    Design and Build

The Noise Colorfit Nav has a square-shaped dial with thin bezels surrounding the display. The case of the watch is made of polycarbonate, and it feels very sturdy. This smartwatch is available in two colour options, Camo Green and Stealth Black.

Smooth edges and light weight of 40 grammes make it easy to wear and comfortable on the wrist. It comes with basic rubber-silicon straps that can be removed and replaced as desired. On the back of the watch, you will find charging pins and an optical heart rate sensor. The back is made of the same matte-finish polycarbonate as the casing.

On the right side of the watch face are two physical buttons that can be used to navigate the user interface. One of these buttons takes you back to the previous interface, while the other toggles the display on and off. Both provide good tactile feedback.

    Noise Colorfit Nav waterproof

The Noise Colorfit NAV has an IP68 rating for water resistance and can hold up against dust, dirt, and sand. You can use it in the shower, however, you should not wear it while swimming. Overall, the build quality of this smartwatch is quite satisfactory for its price point.

    Battery and Charging

The Noise ColorFit NAV packs a 180mAh battery and the company claims a battery life of 4 days and up to 30 days on standby. I believe it’s not so good but not so bad either.

Even though this claim is questionable because it depends a lot on how much the user uses it, the ColorFit Nav does deliver you a good 3 days of use. It is expected to last longer if the notifications are off and all features are disabled.

It comes with a proprietary magnetic charging cable. Using the magnetic cable, the watch can fully charge from 0 to 100.

    Display

Noise Colorfit Nav features a 1.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels. Even in direct sunlight, the screen is bright and offers a wide viewing angle for optimal visibility. You can see your steps, distance travelled, and calories burned for the day on the screen.

There are three brightness levels to choose from when you swipe the bottom of your screen. I found level 2 to be good for outdoor use while level 1 was good for indoor use.

The display has an oleophobic coating, which helps to reduce fingerprints and other smudges. I liked the fact that the watch also lets you customize the font size for better viewing.

As expected, you do not get the always-on-display feature; however, you do get the raise-to-wake feature. In order to save battery life, the screen will turn off after a certain amount of time (five, ten, or fifteen seconds).

Users can select from a total of 12 watch faces, and an upcoming update will add even more options. All in all, the Noise ColorFit Nav’s touch recognition is on point and works without any problems.

    Fitness and Health Features

Moving on to the features, we have already mentioned that this is the first smartwatch from Noise to feature an in-built GPS system. The 6-axis sensor that is built into the watch is intended to be able to monitor your activities with a higher degree of precision.

You get a limited set of workout modes on the Noise Colorfit Nav which includes Walking, Running, Indoor Cycling, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Running, Indoor Walking, Strength Training and Yoga. These may suffice for some, but for others, they may not be enough to satisfy their sports and activities needs.

After choosing an activity, you will then have the option to manually select a goal, such as Duration, Steps, or Distance, or you can begin the workout without choosing a goal at all. The Noise Colorfit Nav will keep a record of your step count, calories burned, as well as the distance travelled.

The watch also features a heart rate sensor which was quite good in measuring. Of course, it’s not 100 per cent accurate but again, it has pretty decent accuracy. It takes anywhere from five to ten seconds to measure your heart rate, and since it monitors your heart rate continuously while you exercise, the battery will run out of juice much more quickly.

The watch can also track your sleep patterns and show you detailed information on the app. All of this data is broken down into hours slept and percentages of light sleep and deep sleep achieved over the last five days.

    Software and UI

The Noise Colorfit Nav runs on a proprietary OS developed by the company. You would need to download the NoiseFit X app on your smartphone to unlock all the features of the watch. The Noisefit X app is available on both Android and iOS.

In order to make pairing simpler, they have included a QR code on the watch. All one needs to do to pair the device is open the NoiseFit X app and scan the QR code.

The Noise Colorfit Nav UI is very basic and simple to use. The app, much like the watch itself, gives users the ability to select from a total of 12 watch faces, and the company promises to add more watch faces with an OTA update.

The device allows you to see the name of the caller, as well as to reject the call. You can also send a quick SMS reply using the watch.

Among the options, you’ll find are DND mode, aeroplane mode, and Find My Phone. Airplane Mode cuts off all connectivity with the paired smartphone. The Do Not Disturb (DND) mode silences all alerts and notifications, and the Find My Phone feature causes your smartphone to make a beeping sound if you’ve lost track of it and need help locating it.

    Noise Colorfit Nav smartwatch features

You can see the weather forecast, control music and use the watch as a camera shutter, and set alarms and timers.

    Verdict

If you’re looking for a good smartwatch for a reasonable price, the Noise ColorFit NAV can be a good option. It comes with an in-built GPS, a big and bright LCD display, and has IP68 certification. It was easy to pair with the phone, and the app has a lot of customization options available.

However, there were a few things that didn’t live up to expectations. The battery life isn’t that impressive. In comparison to other watches sold at the same price point, the Noise Colorfit Nav does not have a broad collection of workout modes.

As a budget option, it’s a good choice, but heavy users should be prepared to charge the smartwatch every three days at the very least.
