Realme 13 Pro Plus Design And Build
The Realme 13 Pro Plus back is made of glass with a matte finish. It has a rounded camera on the back with a slight bump, which makes it slightly awkward. However, its finishing is top-notch, and the built quality is not slippery.
I have a Monet Gold colour, which is really looking cool. The realme signature name is at the bottom of the device.
There is no 3.5mm jack in terms of connectivity. The device footer has a Type-C slot, sound system, and SIM slot. Its left side is clean, while the right side has a lock button and volume control button. These buttons are fragile and soft to press.
The phone has a stereo speaker setup with a grille on the top and an earpiece acting as a secondary speaker. You also get a microphone for taking calls.
Realme 13 Pro Plus has a curved display and back, which makes it handy and gives it a crispy feel when carried without cover.
To protect the phone from splashes, it has an IP65 rating. The overall build quality and design are perfect, except for the camera design, which I didn’t like a bit.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Camera
Realme 13 Pro Plus has a triple rear camera setup including 50 MP (wide) with OIS, 50 MP (periscope telephoto) with OIS, 3x optical zoom and 8 MP (ultrawide) sensors.
There is a 32MP front camera to produce sharp selfies. This phone has an AI-based camera, which enhances the images just after clicking an image.
Realme claims that the Realme 13 Pro Plus camera can compete with DSLR images; I clicked many pictures. I can say that, at some point, it goes very well, but you will see that the DSLR image edges are sharper compared to 13 Pro Plus images.
Its 50-megapixel Sony LYT 701 and 50-megapixel Sony LYT 600 with periscope telephoto produce excellent photos in day photography. Moreover, its AI camera automatically exposes and corrects the colour according to the environment.
Realme 13 Pro Plus’s rear camera has a 6x zoom, while the Realme 12 Pro Plus has only 3x zoom. I clicked a lot of images with its 6x zoom, but even in this, the photos did not get pixelated. Its result was also excellent because when I zoomed and clicked, it did not seem to be clicked at 6x.

If you like reality, its photos taken at night will not look impressive. This phone saturates the pictures and adds extra light to make the images look better, so even photos taken in low light will look a little too light. Apart from this, its closeup images are really good; they perfectly shape the corners of the flowers and leaves.
Its 32-megapixel front camera produces perfect images with accurate details and skin tones. In terms of video recording perspective, it supports 1080p at 30fps video recording with a front camera and 4K at 30fps with a rear camera.
Overall, the Realme 13 Pro Plus camera is excellent and is a great choice over the Poco F6 or Realme 12 Pro Plus in the mid-range category.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Battery And Charging
Realme 13 Pro Plus comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and an 80W fast charger in the box. This is one of the best things that you don’t need to buy an adapter. I watch a lot of videos and play games, so it usually offers seven to eight hours of battery on a signal charge. But you can get almost 12 hours plus battery if you watch offline videos.
My use included playing BGMI and Clash of Clan, watching YouTube videos, watching offline web series, and sometimes Insta Reel. In my use, I get almost eight hours of battery life. I got battery performance is good in the Realme 13 Pro Plus review, and it does not take too much time to charge it fully because It can be charged within an hour.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Display
Realme 13 Pro Plus has a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution. Basically, you will notice that here, you see a curved display, and many people like such displays and find them impressive. Personally, I like curved displays more than normal phones because they give a luxury feel and a luxury vibe. In terms of bezels, you will see almost symmetrical bezels on the entire phone.
Overall, this is a 120 Hz display, so you will definitely not face any problems in gaming, etc.; it runs very smoothly. I scrolled the display and opened many apps; all were functioning smoothly, so you are not going to face any problems in normal usage. Even the brightness is also very good. It has a peak brightness of 950 nits. I used this phone outdoors to check how it performs, and then this phone can be used comfortably even in sunlight.
Now, talking about content viewing, I watched 4K videos on YouTube. But here, you will not be able to watch HDR content, so it will be a little disappointing for those who try to watch some content on Netflix or YouTube in HDR that does not support it.
So, personally, if I talk about the display quality of the phone, then I found the display quality quite good in my Realme 13 Pro Plus review, and there is no such problem. You get a display with full HD Plus resolution, so you will not notice any pixelation, etc., so much if you are enjoying the content here.
Realme 13 Pro Plus Performance
Realme 13 Pro Plus has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which is relatively fast processing. I got a phone variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage for review. It has UFS 3.1 type storage and LPDDR4X RAM; it could have had UFS 4.0 storage like Realme GT 6T and Poco F6. UFS 4.0 would have saved a lot of battery, while UFS 3.1 consumes a little more battery. Apart from all this, there is no SD card slot.
I played many games on this phone, so you can do good gaming here in medium settings. Even when I tried playing on high settings, I got slight frame drops, but not noticeable. I used it for day-to-day activities, like playing games, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube at the same time, just to check if it had any lag problems due to heavy usage. Surprisingly, I could not feel any lag problem, and there was even no heating problem.
Regarding benchmarks, the Realme 13 Pro Plus CPU throttles to 71 per cent max performance; during this test, the phone got heated a bit. Moreover, the phone has a stability score of 99.5 per cent on the 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test. In Geekbench, the phone has a single-core score of 855 and a multi-core score of 2669.
Realme 13 Pro Plus AnTuTu score is 671784, and storage score is 78113. Overall, the Realme 13 Pro Plus performance review is excellent and one more thing to consider is that there is also no heating during plugged-in.

Realme 13 Pro Plus Software And UI
Realme 13 Pro Plus has Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 with a three-year OS update and four years of security patches. You will see very unusual apps that are pre-installed, like Amazon, Netflix, LinkedIn, HeyFun, Moj, and Hot apps, but you can uninstall them.
Apart from this, after Camera AI, you will also get an AI eraser feature in the phone. This means if there is any object in your photo, you can remove it smoothly, and it will not even be noticed. It also has a painting option, so you can paint it, which does not seem like there is any object here. I also tried it, which was very good.
Apart from this, this phone has many customisation features, meaning you can customise many things, like making the app’s size smaller or bigger or reducing or increasing the font size. AOD (Always On Display) features are also available, and you can customise them there, too.
There is a punch-hole design that gives more display, just like Dynamic Island, to have battery status, network status, calls, and other options. Realme also offers several display themes to give an aesthetic look to Realme 13 Pro Plus UI (User Interface).

Realme 13 Pro Plus launched recently, with a lot of capabilities like long battery life, fast charging, carved display, AI-based periscope camera and fast processor. One of the best features that caught my eye was the AI feature. It is because there is no phone at a mid-range price that promises to give those features.
Its AI-loaded camera excellently delivers the best images, which can also compete with low-end DSLRs. It also has AI-integrated features like an AI eraser to remove unwanted objects from photos, which you have seen in Samsung Galaxy S24 models. These types of premium features you get in the Realme 13 Pro Plus phones.
Right there, its camera design disappoints you, due to which the phone appears to be bulging out on the flat surface. It does not have 3.5mm and wireless charging, which should be included. However, Realme 13 Pro Plus is a great choice to buy.
I hope you will like this Realme 13 Pro Plus review. There are other options in this price range, like Motorola Edge 50 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno11 Pro, Vivo V29 Pro, OPPO Reno12, Realme GT 6T, etc. You can compare their feature with Realme 13 Pro Plus on Cashify to make a perfect decision.
