Poco M2 had a livestream yesterday which officially revealed the product. Both the Poco M2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 are incredible devices for the price that they come in. The Poco M2 features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The Redmi Note 9’s has the exact same size and resolution as well. However, the difference lies in the layer of protection for the phones. While the Poco M2 has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, the Redmi Note 9 has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Processor And Performance
On the processor and performance front, the Poco M2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The processor is paired with the Mali G52 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. On the camera front, the Poco M2 has a quad rear camera setup. Additionally, the setup includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Poco M2 price in India starts from Rs 10,999 (6GB/64GB) while the Redmi Note 9 price starts at Rs 11,999 (4GB/64GB). The 6GB/128GB variant of the Poco M2 is priced at Rs 12,499. On the other hand, the 4GB/128GB variant of the Redmi Note 9 is priced at Rs 13,499 and the 6GB/128GB at Rs 14,999.
The takeaway here is that both the devices are actually very similar in performance. However, the camera setup on the Redmi Note 9 is much better because of the 48MP sensor. Also, the price difference is not so much between the two. Both the phones prove to be an excellent value for money and buyers can pick either of the two and not regret their decision.
