What do we want to see?
When it came to design changes, the Apple Watch Series 4 brought it. The display got better and the Series 5 followed the same footsteps. The Series 4 and 5 provide a lot more screen than the others which is great. However, the Apple Watch has had the exact same form factor since its release. This is something which does need a change.

Furthermore, we are expecting to see better design in the Apple Watch Series 6 than the other offerings. The Series 5 only had small updates like a built-in compass alongside an always-on display. We expect to see something bigger with the next one.
Additionally, better fitness features like cadence tracking would be an incredible addition as well. There has been a rumor going around that blood oxygen levels can be checked as well. However, that would require new hardware and the Series 6 is rumored to be coming with that.

Also, battery improvements would be great to see. This would make it match other smartwatches in the market like the Samsung Galaxy Watches. Another amazing feature to see would be sleep tracking alongside roaming capabilities in the watch. Apple has actually revealed that OS 7 will bring sleep tracking. However, it probably will not be as detailed as other premium smartwatches in the market right now.
Some other possibilities we would like to see come to reality are smart straps, a camera, Face ID and third party app support for more watch faces.
