The image was shared on the Pixel Community group on Facebook and reshared on Twitter by TechDroider. And fortunately, the box compiles with the design we had expected so far with the aid of all previous leaks and teasers. The image of the retail box shows the back of the Pixel 4a which confirms the presence of a square camera module that we had known from previous leaks.
However, the image doesn’t make the possibility of a physical fingerprint scanner at the back to be clear, possibly because of the cover present on the box. But still, we are assuming the presence of a rear mounted physical fingerprint scanner on the device.

Pixel 4a Specifications
Combining all the previous leaks, renders and rumours, this is what we know about the spec-sheet of the upcoming Pixel 4a. The device is supposed to host a 5.81-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080-pixel resolution) display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The powertrain, like the older Pixel 3a, will not be much interesting. Unlike the powerful Pixel 4, the Pixel 4a is expected to be powered by a lighter Snapdragon 730 chipset which will be paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

We assume that Google will retain the single camera setup at the back, but now in a rectangular (similar to the Pixel 4) camera module. The retail box image also hints the same. However, camera performance will be terrific, thanks to Google’s exceptional computational photograph. Battery department is tipped to include a 3080 mAh battery, compared to the Pixel 3a’s 3,000mAh and will charge through a USB-C port.
The official launch of the Pixel 4a was previously expected to happen at the Google I/O conference. But now, since it’s cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we can expect an online-only event which may happen soon in future.
