A device with the codename IN2025 has gone through Geekbench and this might be the vanilla OnePlus 8. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset (“kona”) just like the OnePlus 8 Pro, and therefore the Geekbench score of both the devices is similar. But notice the RAM – it’s 8GB while the professional model packed 12GB. That’s to not say that the vanilla model won’t have an option for 12GB, maybe we just haven’t seen it yet.

The real question here is that whether OnePlus will reserve the 120Hz screen for the pro model, and leave the OnePlus 8 at 90Hz, or if both models will use the new panel. There are also rumours that there could be a new 50W charger (Warp Charge 50). The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro could also be announced in late March or April rather than the standard reveal in May.
