With the most anticipated smartphone line-up of 2020, the OnePlus 8 series, launched recently, fans got pretty disappointed after looking at the launch price. The OnePlus 8 series launch price started at $699 for the base variant in the US. However, the company didn’t reveal its price tag in India.
OnePlus, via its official Twitter account, announced that the India pricing will be shared soon. And finally, after a worthy waiting period, the prices of both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in India are here. And guess what, it’s great news for the fans as the official price tags came much lower than we had expected earlier at the launch.

Unexpectedly, the company has also offered a special 6GB RAM variant, which seems to be the most affordable one. The Bullet Z Wireless are introduced at Rs. 1,999 whereas in the US, they are priced at $49.95 (roughly Rs. 3,800). Fun fact, the assumed price of the OnePlus 8 at the launch was Rs. 52,999 ($699) for the 8GB+128GB variant whereas the 12GB+256GB was expected to come at Rs. 59,999 ($799). The Pro variant on the other hand was expected to come at Rs. 69,999 ($899) for the 8+128GB and 75,999 ($999).

The OnePlus 8 series offers top-of-the line specifications along with a modern design. OnePlus has also introduced a host of much wanted features in the OnePlus 8 series which we always found missing in the previous models from the company. This includes a higher 120hz refresh rate panel and for the first time wireless and reverse-wireless charging along with IP68 rating, although present only on the OnePlus 8 Pro. Fortunately, both the devices also support 5G connectivity, thanks to Snapdragon X55 modem.
