According to reports, HMD Global is buckling up to bring back the classic Nokia 8000 and Nokia 6300. They are planning to do so by giving these models 4G support. This will reportedly be achieved by changing the operating system of the devices to KaiOS. This operating system is super successful and has been used in the Jio Phones.
These old Nokia models were spotted on a Swedish telecom operator Telia’s wesbite. Going by the reports, these devices appeared on a refreshed list of devices that will support Wi-Fi calling. However, these old Nokia models are no longer listed on Telia’s website. But, this listing definitely indicates that the Nokia 8000 and Nokia 6300 will get a major upgraded launch soon. Moreover, the primary aim of this launch is to hit the nostalgia strings in customers. Other smartphones like the Nokia 8, Nokia 9 and more were listed as well.

The Nokia 8000 4G will reportedly come with the model number TA-1303. Moreover, this is the model number for the dual-SIM variant. The phone will run on KaiOS and feature a 2.8-inch display. Additionally, this Nokia phone will also be powered by a single-core processor. The single-core processor will be paired with 4MB RAM and 512MB of internal storage. Besides, this internal storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Nokia 6300 4G Specifications (Expected)
Going by a report of Nokia Power User, the Nokia 6300 4G will come with the model number TA-1294. Moreover, this is the model number for the dual-SIM variant of the phone as well. The Nokia phone will run on KaiOS as well. Additionally, the Nokia phone will feature a 2.4-inch display. This is a slightly smaller display than the one on Nokia 8000.
On the processor front, the phone is powered by a single-core processor. This processor is said to come with 4MB RAM and 512MB of internal storage. Additionally, the internal storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Nokia 6300 4G will packs a 1,500mAh battery. Moreover, the connectivity options on the device are the same as the Nokia 8000 4G. Lastly, the phone is expected to come in three color options namely Charcoal, Cyan, and White.
