The Xiaomi Pad 5 has finally gone official in Europe. This particular tablet, alongside the Realme Pad have been making rounds of the internet for so long. The Realme Pad launched last week and now, the premium tablet by Xiaomi has launched as well. Both the tablets will compete against each other however, while one is an affordable mid-ranger, the other is a premium mid-ranger.
In addition, the company has also launched a bunch of smartphones during the event. The Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro went official in the European market as well. We also saw the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE being launched globally. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the Xiaomi Pad 5 specs and price.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Price and Availability
The latest Xiaomi Pad 5 price in Europe has been set at EUR 349 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option. Moreover, this converts to roughly Rs.30,300 in the Indian currency. Further, the 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant comes with a price tag of EUR 399 which converts to approximate Rs. 34,600. The tablet will go on sale starting September 23, 2021, in Europe.

When it comes to the availability of the premium mid-ranger tablet, it will go on sale only in Europe initially. Although the India launch date of the device is currently under wraps, we can expect it to launch soon in the country. The tablet comes in the Cosmic Gray and Pearl White colour options. The smartphone will go on sale via Amazon, Lazada, and Mi.com in the region. Lastly, it will also go on sale via AliExpress at 12am PST with an early bird offer of EUR 299, which is around Rs. 25,900.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications
Starting off with the Xiaomi Pad 5 specs, it will come with an 11-inch WQHD+ TrueTone display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The display also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10 support.

Under the hood, the premium mid-ranger tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC. The octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. When it comes to features, the Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with Face Unlock. Further, it also comes with Split Screen support for faster multitasking.
Moving to cameras, the Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with a single 13-megapixel primary rear camera sensor with an LED flash. At the front, the premium mid-ranger tablet sports an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. It also supports 1080p recording. When it comes to the audio setup, the tablet comes with a quad speaker setup backed by Dolby Atmos support.

On the battery front, the latest tablet by Xiaomi packs an 8,720mAh battery. Additionally, the battery capacity also comes with 33W fast charging support. Now, according to the company, this battery capacity can deliver up to 10 hours of gaming, 16 hours of video playback, and 5 days of music playback. The tablet also packs all the essential connectivity options. These include dual-band Wi-Fi , Bluetooth v5.0, a USB Type-C port for charging and more.
