Xiaomi’s Next event today April 27, 2022, brings quite a few launches in India. One among them is Xiaomi Pad 5 which has launched in India after quite some time. It comes as a successor to the Xiaomi Pad 4. Moreover, this time around this tablet is here to stand in the premium segment of Android tablets against Samsung. Xiaomi Pad 5 Price in India
It comes in two storage options 6GB RAM + 128GB storage available at Rs. 26,999. Whereas, the 8GB+256GB option is available at Rs. 28,999. Xiaomi is offering introductory prices of Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,999. But this introductory offer is valid till May 7, 2022. However, Xiaomi didn’t announce the colour options of the Xiaomi Pad 5 at the event.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications
This Android tablet flaunts a 10.95-inch 2.5K LCD screen with a 2560 × 1600 pixels screen resolution. The screen can get up to 650 nits of brightness, which is fairly good even for outdoor usage. The device also comes with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and also a DCI-P3 colour gamut. In addition, it supports Dolby Vision, making it the only tablet to offer this feature in this price segment.

Under the hood, Xiaomi Pad 5 powers on the Snapdragon 860 octa-core chipset built on a 7nm process. It comes paired with Adreno 640 GPU. It also packs 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it draws power from an 8,720mAh battery unit and will come with a 22.5W fast charging, but supports 33W fast charging as well.
In terms of audio, the tablet comes with a quad-speaker setup along with support for Dolby Atmos and also Hi-Res audio certification. Moreover, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack here. Additionally, the Pad 5 supports small windows, split screens, parallel windows, quad speakers, and channel mapping features. The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with a Xioami Pen and Xiaomi keyboard support. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Wifi 2.4/5GHz bands, and USB Type-C OTG support.
