Infinix has today launched an entry segment smartphone, Infinix Smart 6. It comes as a successor to the Infinix Smart 5. Moreover, the company says that the back panel of the Smart 6 has been sprayed with Silver Ions. It should help inhibit many bacteria and reduce the spread of diseases. It will be competing with phones such as the Redmi 9A, Realme C20, and Jio Next. Here are all the details of the smartphone below:

Price in India, Availability
It comes in Polar Black and Heart of Ocean colour options. The phone is available in a sole 2GB/64GB model priced at Rs. 7,499. The Smart 6 will go on sale starting May 6, 2022. The company will sell the Infinix Smart 6 exclusively on Flipkart. Interested buyers can avail of 10 per cent off on Kotak Credit Cards, up to Rs. 1,250. They can also get 10 per cent off on RBL Credit and Debit Cards, up to Rs. 1,250. Flipkart Axis Bank Card users can get a cashback of 5 per cent.

Infinix Smart 6 Specifications
It sports a 6.6-inch ISP LCD HD+ display with 1600×720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the device is powering on a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with 2GB RAM + 2GB virtual RAM and 64GB storage. It is also expandable up to 512GB via a MicroSD card slot. Infinix Smart 6 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
Moreover, in terms of optics, Infinix Smart 6 flaunts a dual-camera setup at the back, featuring an 8-megapixel primary and an AI lens. It has a 5-megapixel shooter at the front for selfies and video calls. Infinix Smart 6 boots Android 11 Go edition-based HiOS 7.6 OS out of the box. It features a fingerprint scanner for security at the back.

According to Infinix, the phone gets Antibacterial Material on the back panel which means there’s a silver ion coating on the back.
