Xiaomi has unveiled its newest and quickest charging technology, which can charge your smartphones from 0 to 100% in minutes. To date, this seems to be Xiaomi’s fastest charging technology.
According to reports, the company intends to release a 200W rapid charging smartphone in the second half of the year. The company showcased its new HyperCharge fast charging technology today, revealing what to hope for from future devices. Xiaomi’s new 200W wired charging solution claims to be able to charge a smartphone in as little as 8 minutes. Along with it, the company showcased its 120W wireless charging technology. The 120W wireless charging technology can charge a phone in as little as 15 minutes.

The 200W HyperCharge fast charging technology follows the company’s introduction of 120W fast charging and 80W wireless fast charging technology with the Mi 10 Ultra last year. Xiaomi is the first smartphone manufacturer to offer 200W fast charging, the fastest speed ever for a smartphone.
Xiaomi released a video demonstrating how the company’s 200W wired charging technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery to 50% capacity within just three minutes. Also, it takes just 8 minutes to fully charge the battery. The all-new 120W wireless charging, on the other hand, can charge a 4,000mAh battery to 10% in just 1 minute, 50% in 7 minutes, and 100% in only 15 minutes.

Xiaomi’s 80W wireless HyperCharge has been replaced by the 120W wireless HyperCharge, which was introduced in October of last year. The 80W wireless charging technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery in about 19 minutes.
When Will 200W HyperCharge Come into Market?
There’s no news on whether Xiaomi will make the charging technology publicly available. Xiaomi had earlier announced a 120W wired charging option as well as an 80W wireless charging solution. On a commercially available smartphone, Xiaomi provides a maximum charging speed of 67W. This feature is available on the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and a few other Redmi K40 series phones. For the time being, however, this is exclusive to China and global markets.
Last month, the Mi 11 Ultra was released in India, with support for 55W rapid charging. Xiaomi has stated that it is working to provide the 67W charger to the country and that it would be available for purchase in the near future.
