A Report suggests that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows users to manage multiple chats simultaneously on its desktop app. The feature, however, is at its beginning stage of development and is available only to portal beta users. The “WABetaInfo” website shared all this information about the upcoming feature. However, no official announcement was made by WhatsApp or Meta.

WhatsApp’s Select Multiple Chats Feature:
WABetaInfo has shared a few screenshots of the new feature with the users, giving them a sneak peek into the UI and the procedure to select multiple chats. WABetaInfo is a reliable platform that tracks, informs and speculates about all the upcoming features and updates on the messaging platform. The screenshot reveals a new option “Select chats” available in the drop-down menu. However, the feature is in the nascent stage of development and there is no confirmation regarding the release date of the new feature.
WhatsApp’s select multiple chats feature will allow Desktop users to select multiple chats at once and mute or mark all of them as read or unread. This desktop feature will make managing multiple chats easy for the users. Moreover, the company is also working on a new feature. That will allow users to report any suspicious status update on PC or laptops on the Desktop app. Currently, the messaging platform only provides access to this feature to the company. This new feature will make the messaging platform even more secure.
