At the WWDC 2021 event, Apple introduced the iCloud+ service. The new service, according to Apple, “combines everything people love about iCloud with new premium features.” The new cloud service will come at no additional cost to Apple users.

Apple launched iCloud+, a new cloud storage service, at its annual developers’ conference. It comes with a number of new premium features that improve privacy. In essence, the service combines iCloud storage with improved privacy features such as Private Relay, Hide My Email, and improved HomeKit Secure Video support.
What are the Key Features
The feature of Private Relay is the first and most important. It’s a new internet privacy service that enables users to surf the web more safely and privately. All traffic leaving a user’s device will be secured thanks to this feature, which is integrated into iCloud.

Users will be able to generate unique and random email addresses that can be routed to their personal inbox using the Hide My Email feature. Users will be able to retain their personal email addresses privately if they are concerned about receiving spam messages from a specific email address in the future.
iCloud+ also adds support for HomeKit Secure video, allowing users to use the Home app to add more cameras. The existing restriction of five HomeKit XSecure movies has been increased to an unlimited number.
iCloud+ Plans in India
Apple claims that the new features are available at no extra charge. As a result, the iCloud+ plans are the same as the iCloud storage plans in terms of price. The plans start at Rs 75 per month in India. It comes with a 50GB storage space and one HomeKit Secure Video camera.

A Rs 219 package provides 200GB of storage space as well as support for up to 5 HomeKit Secure Videos. The top-of-the-line plan is priced at Rs 749. It comes with 2TB of storage space. With this subscription, users will have unlimited access to HomeKit Secure videos.
How is it Different from iCloud?
iCloud+ is a step forward from iCloud, which is mainly a cloud service platform. It has better privacy features, as previously stated. The new service separates between free and paid iCloud users.
