Vivo, the smartphone brand has launched the latest Vivo Y76 5G recently in Malaysia. The all-new Y-series smartphone is the latest 5G phone different from the Y76s, launched in China at the beginning of this month. Both Y76 5G and Y76s smartphones are similar in design language but differ from each other. While Y76 features a tiny waterdrop notch at the top of the display, the Y76s comes with a rectangular-shaped camera module on the back with two large circular cutouts.

Vivo Y76 5G Price and specifications
Vivo has not yet revealed the launch date of Vivo Y76 5G in India and other global markets. However, the handset sports a single 8GB RAM configuration with 128GB of internal storage in Malaysia. It comes in Midnight Space and Cosmic Aurora colour alternatives alongside a price tag of MYR 1,299 (roughly Rs 23,000).

Coming to the specifications, the mid-ranger Vivo Y76 5G offers a 5G network support and runs on MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Besides, it features 8GB RAM with virtual RAM support of up to 4GB, borrowed from the device’s 128GB Internal storage. Talking about the battery, the device packs a 4,100 mAh battery with 44W fast charging capability.
Apart from this, the Vivo Y76 5G comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The screen’s notch comprises a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The handset sports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a screen with a peak brightness of 460 nits.
On the other hand, the Vivo Y76 5G features a triple-camera module having a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The other two cameras comprise a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Vivo’s new 5G smartphone runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with support for AI face unlock. And lastly, the connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, etc.
