Vivo is gearing up to launch a new Y-series smartphone. The company is likely to announce the Vivo Y33s 5G very soon in China. It will be different from the 4G variant, which was launched last year in India. To recall, the Vivo Y33s 5G was reportedly spotted on the 3C certification site, which points towards the smartphone’s imminent launch in China. Vivo Y33s 5G: Specifications (Leaked)
The Y33s 5G comes with a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone has a waterdrop cutout at the top for the front camera. It is likely to feature a 60Hz refresh rate support.
On the back, the upcoming Vivo smartphone has a dual-camera setup. Moreover, it has a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera module has an LED flash next to the large circular cutouts. For selfies and video calls, there will be an 8-megapixel front camera.

The phone will pack a 5000 mAh battery under the hood. It will come with 18W fast charging support out of the box. The device will also pack a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. As mentioned, it will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Vivo is expected to offer a MicroSD slot in the device for storage expansion.
The phone runs Android 12 out of the box with a layer of Origin OS on top. Besides, if launched outside China, the phone is expected to feature Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android. The phone measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 185 grams.
Vivo Y33s 5G: Price
According to the listing, the Vivo Y33s 5G will launch in three storage options. The base 4GB + 128GB variant will be priced at CNY 1499 (roughly Rs 17,650), whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant will be priced at CNY 1599 (roughly Rs 18,850). There will also be an 8GB + 128GB model priced at CNY 1699 (roughly Rs 20,000). The phone will launch in Nebula Blue, Fluorite Black, and Early Snow Dawn colours. It is likely to launch soon as the phone will be available for purchase starting February 12 in China.
