Vivo Y21T Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Vivo has launched another one of their Y series mid-rangers in India. This one is called the Vivo Y21T and is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. Very recently, we saw the device launching in Indonesia. Now, it has finally made its way to the Indian market. There is actually a slight difference in the two models.

While the one in Indonesia comes with a 6.51-inch display, the Indian variant sports a slightly bigger 6.58-inch screen. However, both the variants offer a 90Hz refresh rate panel. Without any further ado, let us take a quick look at the price and specs of the smartphone.

Vivo Y21T Price and Availability

The Vivo Y21T price in India has been set at Rs. 16,490 for the sole 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. This smartphone by Vivo comes in the Midnight Blue and Pearl White colour options. When it comes to the availability of the device, it can be purchased via the brand’s official website as well as major e-commerce platforms.

First things first, the Y21T comes with a 6.58-inch HD+ LCD display. In addition, the display offers a resolution of 2408 ×1080 pixels. The display also flaunts a fast 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20.07:9. We can also see a waterdrop-style notch design on the display.

On the processor front, the Vivo Y21T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with the Adreno 610 GPU for handling graphic intensive tasks. The processor and GPU are coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage is also expandable via a microSD card slot. Users can also extend virtual RAM by 1GB.

Talking about optics, the newly launched Vivo device sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2-meapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and another 2-megapixel sensor. At the front, the handset offers an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

When it comes to the battery capacity, the Vivo Y21T packs a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity is coupled with 18W fast charging support. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 with the FuntouchOS 12 custom skin on top.

The handset packs all the essential connectivity options as well. This includes 4G LTE, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0. There is also a USB Type-C port for charging purposes. Good thing is that the device also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, the smartphone measures 164.26 × 76.08 × 8.00mm and weighs 182 grams.
