Vivo seems to be working towards their latest smartphone. The Vivo Y12a specifications have been tipped online and this reveals quite a few things. Although nothing has been confirmed from the company’s side of things, we can note a few things from the leak.
The upcoming smartphone by Vivo is expected to come with an HD+ display. We will most likely see a large 5000mAh battery as well in the device. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup as well.

One other important thing that the leak reveals is that the smartphone might be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y12s 2021 edition. This particular smartphone was launched in Vietnam last month. Furthermore, the retails boxes of the upcoming smartphone has also surfaced online. These boxes carry the Vivo V12a moniker and have been revealed by MySmartPrice. The latest affordable Vivo offering is expected to land in select Asian markets soon.
Vivo Y12a Leaked Specifications
The Vivo Y12a will come with a large 6.51-inch HD+ display. Moreover, the smartphone will run on the latest Android 11 with the Funtouch OS 11 custom skin on top. Also, there is no fancy fast refresh rate going on in here. The smartphone will most likely come with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. This will allow the company to retain the affordable price in India as well.
On the processor front, the Vivo Y12a will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC. This octa-core chipset will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to come with a microSD card slot for expansion.

As mentioned before, the smartphone will come with the dual rear camera setup. The setup will include a 13-megpaixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the handset will come with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y12s is expected to be fueled by a big 5000mAh battery. Additionally, the battery capacity will be accompanied by 10W charging support.
Price & Availability
The Vivo Y12s 2021 edition price in Vietnam is set at VND 3,290,000. This converts to roughly Rs. 10,600 in India. Also, this is the price for the single 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant of the smartphone. As far as availability is concerned, nothing has been revealed about the India launch of the device. However, it could be expected to launch soon with a similar price tag.
