Samsung is gearing up to launch new budget smartphones under the F-series in India. The company is planning to launch Samsung Galaxy F42 sometime soon in India. Moreover, the company’s support page for the smartphone is already live for the Galaxy F22. In addition, there are speculations that are a rebrand of Galaxy A22 5G. It launched earlier this year. The phone has surfaced on Bluetooth SIG listing and could unveil in other countries with different monikers.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G Bluetooth SIG
According to the Bluetooth SIG listing, it reveals that the device has the model number SM-E426B. The listing also reveals that the phone is likely a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G that could launch in other countries with a different moniker. The models listed on Bluetooth SIG are Galaxy Buddy and Galaxy Wide 5.

Furthermore, F-series is famous for launching as a rebrand of A-series smartphones. The F-series mostly comes with design changes and minor spec differences. It is yet to announce the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. The device has also visited the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the same model number. It is hinting at an imminent launch.

If it is a rebrand of Galaxy A22 5G, Samsung Galaxy F42 can feature a 6.6-inch IPS Full HD+ LCD with 60Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, the phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC. Samsung could launch the device with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of internal storage. The phone is also likely to pack a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.

In terms of optics, the upcoming Galaxy smartphone will have a triple-camera setup on the back. It has a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone will pack an 8MP front camera sensor. The Samsung Galaxy F42 runs Android 11-based One UI 3.0 out of the box and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
