Vivo is all set to launch their Vivo X70 series of smartphones globally on September 13, 2021. However, the company has launched the series in China now. This reveals the pricing and specifications of the series ahead of its global launch event. The series consists of three smartphones, namely the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro Plus. Without any further ado, here is a quick rundown of the price and specifications of all three of these devices.
Vivo X70, X70 Pro, X70 Pro Plus Price and Availability
The Vivo X70 price in China is set at CNY 3,699 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option. This converts to roughly Rs. 42,150 in the Indian currency. Further, the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants come with price tags of CNY 3,999 and CNY 4,299. These convert to approximately Rs. 45,600 and Rs. 49,000, respectively.
The Vivo X70 Pro price in China is set at CNY 4,299 for the 8GB/128GB variant. This converts to around Rs. 49,000 in the Indian currency. Meanwhile, the 8GB/256GB variant comes with a price tag of CNY 4,599 which converts to roughly Rs. 52,400. Additionally, there are 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants as well which are priced at CNY 4,799 and CNY 5,299, respectively. Now, these prices convert to Rs. 54,700 and Rs. 60,400, respectively.

The Vivo X70 Pro Plus price in China is set at CNY 5,499 for the 8GB/256GB variant. This converts to approximately Rs. 60,400 in the Indian currency. Further, the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants come with price tags of CNY 5,999 and CNY 6,999, respectively. In the Indian currency, these convert to around Rs. 68,300 and Rs. 79,800, respectively.
When it comes to the availability of the devices, they are currently available in China only. However, the smartphones are all set to launch globally on September 13, 2021. Meanwhile, we can expect to see the devices come to the Indian market sometime later this month or in October, 2021.
Vivo X70 Specifications
Starting with the Vivo X70 specs, it comes with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. Additionally, the display comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. However, like the other models in the series, it does not come with a curved display. Rather, it sports a regular flat display with punch-hole design.
On the processor front, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. When it comes to software, the handset runs on Android 11 OS with the Origin OS 1.0 custom skin on top.

For photos and videos, the Vivo X70 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 40-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary sensor alongside two 12-megapixel sensors. Now, these sensors are there for portrait and ultra-wide-angle shots, respectively. At the front, the device sports a 32-megapixel primary sensor.
The smartphone packs a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. When it comes to dimensions, the device measures 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 181 grams.
Vivo X70 Pro Specifications
Moving to the Pro variant, it features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display as well. We can also see a similar 120Hz refresh rate on a slightly curved display. When it comes to software, the device runs on Android 11 OS with the Origin OS 1 custom skin on top.
Under the hood, the Vivo X70 Pro is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC. Moreover, this is also one of the very first device to come with the company’s very own V1 chipset. The octa-core chipset pairs up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Moving to optics, the smartphone features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. In addition, there are two 12-megapixel sensors as well in the setup for portrait and ultra-wide-angle shots, respectively. At the front, the device sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Vivo X70 Pro specs include a 4,450mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Besides, it also packs all the essential connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging and more. When it comes to the dimensions of the device, it measures 8mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Specifications
The X70 Pro+ has been launched as the most high-end smartphone in the series. It sports a bigger 6.78-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED E5 curved display. In addition, the display comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate on a 10-bit LTPO panel. The display comes with a peak brightness of 1500 nits and a pixel density of 517 PPI.
Under the hood, the premium smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. In addition, the octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. When it comes to software, the device runs on Android 11 OS with the Origin OS 1 custom skin on top.

Moving to cameras, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 primary sensor alongside a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 secondary sensor.
