In the very same month, the company also introduced their Sony WF-1000 XM4 Truly Wireless earbuds. Now, Sony has launched their Sony HT-S40R Home Theatre system in the country.
Moreover, this home theatre system comes with Dolby Audio certification as well. The setup comes with all the essential new gen connectivity options for users to go for both wired and wireless audio playback. The Sony HT-S40R price in India has been set at Rs. 28,990. The 5.1 channel home theatre system is available at this price from today itself. When it comes to the availability of the new home theatre system by Sony, it will be up across all the leading e-commerce platforms in the country. In addition, the home theatre system will also be available for purchase via Sony Centre and partner offline retail stores as well.

Sony HT-S40R Specifications
The Sony HT-S40R comes with a 5.1 channel audio playback, which offers an immerse experience. Now, it achieves this via a three channel sound bar which is supposed to be placed right under the TV. In addition, there are two wireless rear speakers which easily connect the subwoofer to the rest of the setup. Now, this allows users to get an easily set up seamless audio experience without going through the hassle of wire management.

Further, the Sony HT-S40R comes with Dolby Audio certification as well. This offers a spatial audio distribution across the room for an immersive cinematic experience. The Dolby Audio tuned speakers come with a total audio output of 600W. The newly launched home theatre system by Sony also come with a master remote which controls the entire home theatre setup.
Additionally, the home theatre can be wireless configured to your television at home. However, there is a catch. To do this, you need to have a Sony TV. Furthermore, the 5.1 channel amplifier is wireless as well so, users do not have to go though troublesome wires. Sony seems to have as wireless as they possibly could for this home theatre setup, which is great.

The Sony HT-S40R home theatre system also packs all the essential connectivity options. These include an HDMI port, USB port, Bluetooth Sync and optical inputs to go for wired connectivity which depends from user to user. If someone wants to have a wired setup, there is an option for that via these optical inputs.
