Vivo X70 Pro, X70 Pro+ is now officially launched in India. Earlier, the company has launched the series in China. However, Vivo did not launch the VivoX70 in India at the moment. Now, it comes as successors to the Vivo X60 series. They also bring sizeable upgrades over the predecessors. Moreover, there is a slight difference in the specifications for the China variants and Indian variants. Let us look at them in detail below:
Pricing, Availability
- Vivo X70 Pro price in India is Rs. 46,990 for the 8GB+128GB storage version, Rs. 49,990 for the 8GB+256GB model, and Rs. 52,990 for the high-end 12GB + 256GB model.
- Whereas, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus price in India is set at Rs. 99,999 for the 12GB+256GB version.

Now, pre-booking for both devices starts from September 30, 2021. However, the X70 Pro will go on sale from October 7, 2021. Whereas, the X70 Pro Plus will be available starting from October 12, 2021. They will be available via Flipkart, Amazon and Vivo e-store along with leading offline stores.
Vivo X70 Pro, X70 Pro+ Specifications
Now, the Pro+ is the company’s most premium smartphone of 2021. It sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display. There is also a punch-hole cutout, Corning Gorilla Glass, and curved edges.
Under the hood, the phone powers on a Snapdragon 888+ SoC with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes with Adreno 660 GPU. It runs on Android 11 OS with Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.

Moving to cameras, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 primary sensor alongside a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 secondary sensor. In addition, there is an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 12-megapixel portrait sensor as well. Now, the setup comes with Optical Image Stabilisation or OIS support as well. At the front, we get to see a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Vivo X70 Pro+ packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It also comes with stereo speakers. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The smartphone also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance rating, which adds to the overall durability of the device.
Moving to the Pro variant, it features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display as well. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate on a slightly curved display. When it comes to software, the device runs on Android 11 OS with the Origin OS 1 custom skin on top.

Under the hood, it also powers on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Now, this Vivo X70 Pro is the company’s mid-range camera focussed phone.
Moving to optics, the smartphone features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. In addition, there are two 12-megapixel sensors as well in the setup for portrait and ultra-wide-angle shots, respectively. At the front, the device sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone packs a 4,450 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Besides, Vivo X70 Pro also packs all the essential connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging and more. When it comes to the dimensions of the device, it measures 8mm in thickness and weighs 186 grams.
