Vivo X100 Series India Launch Confirmed: Expected Specs, Price

Vivo has confirmed it will soon launch its flagship X100 series in India. The Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro will be the first phones in the country to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor.

Vivo X100 Series Will Bring Dimensity 9300 To India

The Vivo X100 series will be among India’s first flagship phones to use the Dimensity 9300 chipset. This chipset brings a 15 per cent improvement in single-core and 40 per cent in multi-core performance.

Moreover, it is the first processor to use all big cores: four Cortex A4 and four Cortex 720 cores. It is based on a 4nm architecture and LPDDR5T memory with 9600Mbps speed support, which the company claims is the world’s fastest smartphone memory.

Vivo X100 Series Specifications

The Vivo X100 series boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has 3000 nits of peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The MediaTek 9300 processor will power both phones paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Both run on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and will have up to 1TB of storage.

The X100 sports a 50-megapixel camera, 64-megapixel periscope lens with 3x zoom and 50-megapixel ultrawide. On the other hand, the X100 Pro features a 50-megapixel with a 1-inch sensor, 50-megapixel ultrawide and 50-megapixel periscope with 4.3 zoom.

The Vivo X100 series will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, while the X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.

Expected Price And Launch Date

According to previous reports, the Vivo X100 Series is expected to launch in the country in early January. Furthermore, both phones will have an India-exclusive Telephoto Sunshot feature to help users capture the sun’s radiance.
