Vivo V29 And V29 Pro Price And Camera Details Leak Before Launch

Vivo is planning to release the Vivo V29 series in India soon. These include the Vivo V29 5G and the Vivo V29 Pro 5G smartphones, featuring a premium design and curved display. A new leak has revealed the price and camera details of the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro before launch.

The Vivo V29 and V29 Pro will arrive in India by the end of September. These phones will have India-specific features, and the V29 will launch in the Majestic Red colour. Both devices have received certification from BIS, hinting at an imminent release.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro will focus on portrait photography. Both phones will offer “professional level portrait photos” with their 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensor. Furthermore, there is a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with a 50mm lens for taking portraits. The company has also added its wedding-style portrait feature found in the Vivo V29e.

Apart from this, the phones will also sport Vivo’s Smart Aura Light, which can provide adjustable lighting effects ranging from 1800K to 4500K. The report further claims the phones will have a price tag of less than Rs.40,000. The V29 will arrive in three colour options, while the V29 Pro will be available in two different colours. They will likely launch in the country by the end of this month.

The V29 is already available globally and features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has curved glass on the front as well as the back and comes with an IP68 rating. The Snapdragon 778G chipset powers the phone paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

It runs on FunTouch OS 13 on top of Android 13 with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A 50-megapixel triple camera setup is on the back, including an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with dual LED flash.

The phone packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, GLONASS and NFC support for connectivity. On the other hand, the V29 Pro is likely to be a rebrand of the Vivo S17 Pro launched in China and offers a faster processor.
