Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V29 series in India, which includes the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G. The Vivo V29 debuted in global markets last month and will soon arrive alongside the V29 Pro in the Indian market.
Vivo V29 And V29 Pro Will Arrive In India By End of September
The Vivo V29 and V29 Pro are all set to launch in India by the end of September. According to a report by 91Mobiles, these phones will have India-specific features, but no details have been specified.

It further claims the phones will have a premium design and colours inspired by India. The V29 will be available in “Majestic Red” colour, while the V29 Pro will be an India-exclusive model. These phones will be announced in the country by the end of this month. Furthermore, the V29 Pro has received BIS certification, indicating an imminent launch.
Vivo V29 and V29 Pro Specifications
The Vivo V29 is already available in the global market and features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2800×1260 pixels resolution. The screen has a pixel density of 453ppi and supports HDR 10+. Moreover, the V29 has a curved glass back and front with IP68 dust and water resistance.

The Snapdragon 778G chipset powers the phone paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. It runs on FunTouch OS 13 on top of Android 13 with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It sports a 50-megapixel primary camera for optics, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. For selfies, there is a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with dual-LED flash. In addition, it features OIS support and an Aura Light LED flash.
The V29 packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, GLONASS and NFC support.

While there are no details about the Vivo V29 Pro yet, it could be a rebrand of the Vivo S17 Pro, which runs on the Dimensity 8200 processor paired with faster UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The phone will have a similar display to the Vivo V29 with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will sport a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom capability. Furthermore, it will have a 50-megapixel front camera and pack a 4600mAH battery with 80W fast charging.
