Qualcomm will announce its flagship chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, at the Qualcomm Summit next month. A new report suggests iQOO’s next flagship will be the first phone to debut with this chip. The upcoming iQOO 12 will be the first phone to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in India.

The upcoming flagship, iQOO 12, could be the first device to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in India. The phone could launch between November end and early December, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. Furthermore, it could debut globally between October 24 to 26.

Other manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus are also expected to launch phones with the flagship chip next year.

iQOO 12 Expected Specifications

The iQOO 12 will sport a 2K E7 AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 24GB of RAM. Furthermore, the phone could run on FunTouch OS 14 out of the box based on Android 14.

For optics, it will have a 50-megapixel primary OV50H sensor and a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide lens. In addition, the phone will have a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities.
