This Samsung Galaxy Lineup Reportedly Discontinued!

Samsung Galaxy Note lineup might just be dead. The company launched a smartphone in the series almost a year ago – Note 20. But it looks like it might end up being the last one to launch in the series. Although the company has launched several other smartphones this year, Galaxy Note seems to be on pause. Now, as it turns out, there may be no new Note smartphone from the company going forward. Although one should note there is no such confirmation from the company as of now.

According to ET News, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 has continued to sell reasonably well and sold roughly 3.2 million devices worldwide in 2021. But reports also suggest that the production of the series is winding down now. One of the major reasons for the discontinuation could be that the company is aiming to bring 13 million foldable devices next year.

To recall, Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first smartphone in the S series to come with the support for S Pen. However, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones, Galaxy S21 Ultra does not have any space to store the S Pen. But it looks like it might not be the case with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Earlier, the tipster Ice Universe suggested that the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra would come with a slot for the S Pen. This might end up replacing the Galaxy Note for once and all.

Furthermore, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra will allegedly look like the Samsung Galaxy Note series. We will only know for sure next year though. We can expect the series to launch around late January 2022. But it looks like the Galaxy S22 series might end up taking the Note series off the table.
