This Budget iPhone May Come To India Soon!

Apple launched their iPhone 13 series models back in September, 2021. Now, the brand seems to be gearing up to launch a budget iPhone in India. 91Mobiles have now collaborated with industry insiders to reveal this. However, the exact moniker of this iPhone has not been revealed. The iPhone SE 3 has been in the leaks for a long time now so, we can expect it to be the same model. Industry Insiders have revealed that three models of this handset have been sent to India for testing purposes.

In addition, we also get to know that two new iPad models have also been imported. According to the sources, these new models are an iPad Air and a budget iPad. Moreover, the sources have also revealed that these devices will be launching in India sometime during spring. As per previous leaks, the upcoming budget iPhone SE 3 will be launching between March to April.

Budget iPhone and New iPad Models: Details To Know

Good thing is that more in-depth details about the upcoming devices have been revealed. For starters, like we said earlier, the upcoming iPhone SE 3 apparently has three model numbers. These are A2595, A2783, and A2784. As mentioned before, the three models have been sent to India for testing purposes. The upcoming device will actually be a budget iPhone. Industry sources have revealed to 91Mobiles that the handset is priced at approximately $300. This converts to around Rs. 23,000 in the Indian currency.

Moving to the iPads, one of them with two model numbers have been sent for testing. It comes with the model numbers A2588 and A2589. Again, the official moniker has not been unveiled. However, going by previous leaks, we can assume that this is the iPad Air Refresh. Now, this iPad comes with a price tag in between $500-700. This is roughly Rs. 37,500 to Rs. 52,300 in India.

Finally, the budget iPad model, which is the third device sent for testing alongside the budget iPhone and iPad Air Refresh. This particular iPad has been imported with two model numbers, A2757 and A2761, respectively. This particular iPad will be costing somewhere around $300 dollars, that is, roughly Rs. 22,500.

Now, as you may have already figured. These prices are surreal for the Indian market. Apple products are indeed costly in India. So, these are surely not the final prices of the upcoming budget iPhone and iPad models. There will be layers of taxes like import duties and the like that will significantly take this price up.
