Tecno has been making a few headlines in recent months with the launch of their first 5G phone, Tecno POVA 5G, and with the announcement of the Spark series of phones which will offer great value for money specifications at a very affordable rate. Now Tecno Spark 8C has been announced. The handset went official in Nigeria and Thailand recently so, a lot of things are known about the device already.

Tecno Spark 8C: what we know about it
Although the Spark 8 series of phones were announced by the company, there was no confirmation as to when it would come out in India. It is arriving in India sooner rather than later. The company announced this through a poster on Twitter. It would be available on Amazon.

We also get to know of the Tecno Spark 8C price in India. According to a report by PassionateGeekz, the smartphone will be priced under Rs. 8,000 in India.
Specifications: What we know so far
Tecno Spark 8C will have 6.6-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a resolution of 720×1,612 pixels. UniSoC T616 SoC is the rumored processor. It will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The primary back camera, of the dual-camera module, is 13-megapixels with an f/1.8 aperture.
The front-facing camera is 8-megapixel. The battery it packs is 5000mAh and it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. Tecno Spark 8C will run on Android 11 Go Edition. The poster claims that it’ll have up to 3GB of extendable virtual RAM. It will be available over an OTA update.
The screen has a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera.
