During Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022, TCL 30 5G, TCL 30, TCL 30 SE, and TCL 30 E got an official launch as the Chinese brand’s newest budget-oriented devices. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC in the TCL 30 5G is combined with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
It comes with 4GB of RAM power the standard TCL 30 and TCL 30+. The MediaTek Helio G25 SoCs are there in both the TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E. TCL also demonstrated a hypothetical foldable smartphone, the TCL Ultra Flex, at MWC 2022.

Price of TCL 30 5G, TCL 30, TCL 30+, TCL 30 SE, and TCL 30 E
TCL 30 5G costs EUR 249 (about Rs. 21,000), TCL 30+ costs EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 16,800), and TCL 30 costs EUR 179. (roughly Rs. 15,100). TCL 30 SE costs EUR 149 (approximately Rs. 12,550), whereas TCL 30 E costs EUR 139. (roughly Rs. 11,700). The TCL 30 5G and TCL 30 E will be available for purchase in Europe beginning in April. While the remainder is already available.
The TCL 30 5G will be available in two colours: Dreamy Blue and Tech Black. TCL will provide Muse Blue and Tech Black colour choices for the vanilla TCL 30 and TCL 30+. The TCL 30 SE is available in Atlantic Blue, Glacial Blue, and Space Grey, while the TCL 30 E is available in Atlantic Blue and Space Grey.

Specifications for TCL 30 5G, TCL 30, and TCL 30+
TCL’s three new smartphones — the TCL 30 5G, TCL 30, and TCL 30+ — will come preloaded with the TCL UI. It is based on Android 12. All three smartphones have 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED screens with a 60Hz refresh rate. A 20:9 aspect ratio, 100 per cent NTSC DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, 395ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 900 nits.
The TCL 30 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 4GB of RAM. The MediaTek Helio G37 SoC have 4GB of RAM in the TCL 30 and TCL 30+. Onboard storage on the 5G-enabled device is 64GB or 128GB. Onboard storage on the vanilla TCL 30 is 64GB, while onboard storage on the TCL 30+ is 128GB. A microSD card may be there to enhance the capacity of the three TCL handsets (up to 1TB).

The camera specs of the three TCL smartphones are likewise similar. A 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.85 aperture is there, as well as two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors with an f/2.4 aperture. The TCL 30 5G and TCL 30+ have a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.3 aperture for selfies and video calls. While the TCL 30 has an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The TCL 30 SE’s back camera is the same as the TCL 30 5G, TCL 30, and TCL 30+’s, with a 50-megapixel main sensor and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. The TCL 30 E, on the other hand, has a dual-camera configuration with a 50-megapixel main sensor. TCL 30 SE has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies, whereas TCL 30 E has a 5-megapixel sensor.
4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C connector, and Wi-Fi direct are among the connectivity choices for the TCL 30 SE and TCL 30 E. Accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor, e-compass, GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and Galileo are among the onboard sensors.

Specifications for the TCL Ultra Flex foldable smartphone (expected)
TCL also showed a potential foldable smartphone at MWC 2022. The smartphone, initially dubbed Ultra Flex, has a 360-degree rotating hinge that allows it to be folded inside or outwards. It will have an 8-inch PLP AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,460×1,860 pixels.
The display is prone to breaking, as shown by the fact that no operational display was available during the hands-on session, according to the article. TCL hasn’t revealed any details on how the display or hinge will operate just yet.

A dual folding display, according to the Chinese tech giant, offers its own set of advantages.
