Sony WF-1000XM5: Features (Expected)
According to reports, the Sony WF-1000XM5 will be the true wireless version of the company’s already launched 1000XM5 generation of headsets. Which presently features only the over-ear headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM5. The new earbuds may follow the typical launch schedule that Sony has. Wherein the over-ear version debuts first, followed by the true wireless model.
The live images reported by The Walkman Blog show that not much seems to be different from the Sony WF-1000XM4. The new true wireless earbuds appear to feature a rounded design language, with rounder earbuds bodies and a rounder wireless charging case as well. The charging case will retain the wireless charging feature. However, the company didn’t provide any details. So it is not clear how the earbuds may differ in terms of audio quality and other features.
However, the earbuds are likely to retain the premium audio drivers, app-linked equaliser, smart assistant support, and active noise cancellation as well. The Sony WF-1000XM5 will likely launch first globally, followed by an India launch. Moreover, we hope to know more about the earbuds in the coming days.
