The frequency range of the Sennheiser HD 400 Pro studio headphones is 6–38,000Hz. Sennheiser designed their transducers, which have a unique polymer diaphragm and powerful drivers to produce a well-defined bass. The company claims that the distortion in these studio headphones is less than 0.05 per cent. These transducers are placed at a little angle to resemble the triangular listening position of studio monitor loudspeakers. Furthermore, the open-back design of the headphones retains the audio’s natural quality.

The headphones have an ultra-lightweight design that hugs your ears pleasantly. Comfortable velour earpads are also included with the studio headphones. A 3m coiled cable and a 1.8m straight cable are included in the box with the new Sennheiser headphones. A 3.5mm jack is included with these cables. A 6.3mm adapter is also included, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of audio gear.
