According to a recently discovered concept patent, Samsung may be working on a multi-purpose expandable display. This invention is for a rolling system that expands the display. This design could have been devised by the South Korean behemoth to eliminate the requirement for a secondary display. Samsung should be able to use only one display on the device, which may be expanding with additional panels as needed.

Samsung has submitted a patent with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), according to 91Mobiles. The patent was out on May 27, 2022. According to the patent, this display may be enlarging in all directions.
According to a previous source, alongside the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G, Samsung could reveal a third foldable tablet. Similar to the design concept of this expandable display, this device might be a foldable smartphone with three displays or a slide-out phablet with a rollable display.

In related news, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s specifications. It will have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED primary display and a 2.1-inch Super AMOLED secondary display, according to reports.
The smartphone is to have a 12-megapixel dual-camera configuration on the back and a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It is believing to be equipping with a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging and 10W wireless charging.
