Tech giant Samsung will launch the next-generation Galaxy SmartTag later this year. The tech giant’s first object tracker, the Galaxy SmartTag, has released in 2021, reports SamMobile. The company hasn’t released an updated version of the device in two years.
However, now Samsung may launch the second generation Galaxy SmartTag lineup in the third quarter of this year.
The upcoming object tracker could come with a better wireless range, beeper volume and advanced security measures to prevent unauthorized tracking.

Samsung Next-Generation Galaxy SmartTag
The tech giant will unveil its new Galaxy SmartTags for the next generation alongside the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. The report states that during the same event, the company may unveil its next generation of foldable smartphones – Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Samsung Z Fold 5.
Furthermore, the tech giant launched the current Galaxy SmartTag in 2021 for $29.99, which is around INR 2,460. You can attach the SmartTag to valuables like keys, bags or pet collars and makes those items trackable via a mobile application.
