Tech giant Samsung confirmed the launch of new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones in India. The company will introduce the handsets on January 18, 2023. Moreover, the brand has teased the specifications and features of the upcoming Galaxy A-series phones. But the monikers of the handsets remain a mystery. However, recent leaks and reports suggest that the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G will make their debut in the country. As they were spotted on Geekbench and the Bluetooth SIG website.

Samsung’s A Series: Specifications (Expected)
A microsite on Samsung India’s website reveals that new Galaxy A series phones will launch in India on January 18 at 12 pm IST. The teaser image also reveals that the smartphones will be available in Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy, and Awesome Green colour variants. The handsets may most likely come with a 6.6-inch full-HD display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the handsets may feature a waterdrop-style notch on the front which resembles the design of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. It is believed that the Galaxy A14 5G will debut along with the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G in India.
The company further claims that the upcoming A-series phones will offer up to 2 days of battery backup. They may most likely come with a triple rear camera unit along with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Additionally these Galaxy A series smartphones will get a high-speed 5G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. Lastly, its One UI interface will offer features such as lock screen personalisation, split screen, quick share, and a privacy dashboard. The Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G — have not debuted in any market yet. However, rumours suggest that the Galaxy A34 5G will likely feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. In contrast, the Galaxy A54 5G may come with a next-gen Exynos 1380 SoC.
