Samsung To Launch A Foldable Tablet Soon

If we recall, Samsung launched Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip smartphones last year. Now, reports of a new folding tab in the making are surfacing online. Moreover, this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab could be the world’s first foldable tablet. In addition, there are reports of the company launching three new foldable smartphones this year.

Now, a new report says that the company is planning to launch a tri-folding tablet soon. According to a report by Lets Go Digital, Samsung registered a trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). This hints towards the company’s intention of launching a foldable tablet under its Z-Fold lineup.

In addition, the report mentions that the trademark application is categorizing as Class 9 with the description ‘smartphones, tablet computers’. Interestingly, the report notes that Samsung has not used the ‘Galaxy Z Fold’ designation previously, which indicates that a Galaxy Z Foldable tablet is indeed in the works.

Furthermore, the report says that the company is expecting to launch the new tri-folding tablet in the first quarter of 2022. Moreover, it is expecting to feature support for the S-Pen stylus. The display of the device is tipping to be of a new type of ultra-thin-glass (UTG) that is likely to enhance the SPen usage. Beyond that, details about Samsung’s upcoming foldable tablet remain scarce at the moment.

As of this moment, we don’t have hard details on specs, pricing, or other Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Tab. Possibly because Samsung itself hasn’t decided them yet. But based on our experiences with foldable tablets, there’s a lot we’re hoping to see.
