Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 has launched officially in South Korea. However, reports claim that the smartphone might launch in India as Galaxy F42 5G. Meanwhile, the phone launched in partnership with SK Telecom. It is exclusively available via their carrier site. Now, this new smartphone is a mid-range device with 5G connectivity, a triple-camera setup, and a big battery. Let us look at its specifications and pricing details below.

In terms of pricing, the new Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 is priced at KRW 4,49,900 (roughly ₹28,200) for the single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options. It comes in a Black, White, and Blue colour option. The phone is up for sale on the SK Telecom site.
Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 Specifications
It sports a 6.6-inch Infinity-V LCD display with Full HD+ resolution.
Under the hood, Wide 5 powers on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. In addition, it has up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is a microSD card slot (up to 1TB expandable).
In terms of optics, the phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel triple-camera setup at the rear. The rear-facing camera setup includes a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Wide packs a 5,000mAh battery onboard and it integrates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone measures 76.4×167.2x9mm and weighs 203 grams. Other features include 5G connectivity, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Wide 5 is listing on SK Telecom with the model number SM-E426S. This is a similar model number to one (SM-E426B) that has been reported to be attached to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. The support page of the SM-E426B model has gone live in India hinting that the Wide 5 may launch in the Indian market as the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G. Samsung has not offered any clarity on the launch of the Wide 5 in international markets.
